In this program, students will examine risk factors and behavioral cues to aid in identifying individuals who may pose a threat to personal and organizational safety. Regardless of industry or setting, the program will not only help students recognize a potential threat, but also give them a familiarity with proven tactics on managing the threat with effective leadership skills.
Designed for professionals interested in personal and organizational safety and security, students will learn to describe evidence-based approaches to identifying and managing threats, employ proven tactics for mitigating violence in a variety of contexts, situations, and environments, and apply evidence-based crisis management interventions to prevent and reduce violence.
